2-Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Erg Lihoudi
Day 1: Marrakesh – Erg Lihoudi:
Departure after breakfast we drive to Ouarzazate through Tizi n'Tichka (2260 m high), we have lunch in Ouarzazate. After we leave Ouarzazat towards Zagora through Tizi-n-Tinififft (1660 m high), stop in the village of Agdz. We continue our journey along the Draa Valley side with its daty palm oasis and ancient Kasbahs.
Then Zagora we will leave in M'hamid, in our way we will make a stop in Tamgroute to visit the Koranic library, the underground Kasbah and the local pottery. Finally we continue our way towards the desert, arriving at a camp with nomadic Berber tents at ERG LIHOUDI by the evening, where we will have our dinner and night.
Day 2: Erg lihoudi – Marrakech:
After your breakfast, we will have a camel ride of one hour in the dunes, We leave in Ouarzazate by a long road of the valley of Draa. Then we have lunch at Ait Ben Haddou after visiting the old kasbah, we continue our route by the road of the old caravans and we approach the life of the Berbers in their villages to go to Telouet and visit the Kasbah of Glaoui. Finally it is the arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.
